Tulare County, California (April 8, 2020) – An elderly bicyclist was killed in a crash with a vehicle on Monday night in Tulare County, according to a report by the CHP.
The fatal accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. April 6, on Avenue 192 near Road 200.
According to the report, the elderly man was riding a dark-colored bike eastbound on Avenue 192 when an eastbound Toyota struck him. The impact ejected the rider from his bike.
Bicycle Rider Killed Tulare County Collision on Avenue 192
The rider, identified as a 76-year-old Strathmore man, was killed in the accident.
The involved motorist remained at the scene.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The crash is under investigation.
