Bloomington, California (April 15, 2021) – The pedestrian who died after being run over by a semi-truck Tuesday night in Bloomington has been identified as Jimmie Joe Ludwig Sr., 61, of Bloomington, according to the San Bernardino Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 8:13 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, on westbound Valley Boulevard near Linden Avenue.
Reportedly, a person was, for unknown reasons, sleeping under a red semi-truck when the driver got back in the truck and did not realize the party was under the truck.
The driver ran over the party.

The victim, now identified as Ludwig Sr., was pronounced dead at the scene.
