Jie Zhao-Willsey ID’d as Driver Killed in El Mirage Truck Accident at El Mirage Road and Sheep Creek Road
Adelanto, California (September 4, 2020) – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver who died in a traffic accident involving a big rig Thursday afternoon El Mirage portion of Adelanto as Jie Zhao-Willsey, 41, of Highland.
At around 1:08 p.m.Thursday, September 3, the authorities received a report about the accident at the intersection of El Mirage Road and Sheep Creek Road.
A white BMW SUV reportedly collided with a semi-truck on El Mirage Road.

Zhao-Willsey was pronounced dead at the scene.
The operator of the semi-truck was uninjured.
Police closed El Mirage Road as they investigated the crash. Motorists were being diverted onto northbound Sheep Creek Road.
The accident remains under investigation.
