Javier Lopez Injured in Graton Crash on Occidental Road near Highway 116
Graton, California (January 16, 2019) – A driver was killed while 22-year-old Javier Lopez, of Alamo, Texas was injured after a traffic collision Monday afternoon in the area of Graton, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at 2:15 p.m. Monday, January 14, on Occidental Road, just west of Highway 116.
As per the report, 18-year-old Mallory Parker was driving a Saturn on Occidental when she lost control of her vehicle and slammed into a Ford pickup parked roadside. The impact forced the pickup on another car and into a tree worker standing nearby.
Responding officers confirmed Parker dead as a result of the collision. It was not immediately known if Parker died at the scene or at the hospital.
Lopez reportedly suffered injuries as a result of the collision. She was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Her current condition was not immediately known.
An investigation is underway.
