Man Injured in Hillcrest Pedestrian Accident on University Avenue near Highway 163
Hillcrest, California (February 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car in a crosswalk in Hillcrest, San Diego, on Friday evening.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened in the 1000 block of University Avenue near Cabrillo (163) Highway.
The authorities said a 22-year-old woman had been driving her car on the roadway when she struck the man who was walking across the marked crosswalk.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered a broken leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
