Ronald Bowman Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Jamacha Road at Darby Street in Spring Valley
Ronald Bowman ID’d as Person Killed in Spring Valley Pedestrian Accident
San Diego, California (February 16, 2019) – The person who was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Spring Valley has been identified as Ronald Bowman, 45, of San Diego, according to authorities.
The deadly accident happened at around 4:28 a.m. Wednesday, February 13 on Jamacha Road at Darby Street.
Authorities said Bowman was reportedly running across the Jamacha Road in the eastbound lanes when he was hit by a vehicle that was heading eastbound.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on Bowman. Bowman did not survive and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No other details were immediately provided.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
