Hesperia, CA: Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Mariposa Road
Person Killed in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident on Mariposa Road near Live Oak Street
Hesperia, California (October 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night in the City of Hesperia, according to a local news source.
The accident took place at around 7:00 p.m. in the 10100 block of Mariposa Road, just south of Live Oak Street.
Authorities said a blue 2006 Honda Odyssey hit a male pedestrian on Mariposa Road.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and declared the pedestrian dead. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the Honda stopped at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officers.
Mariposa Road was shut down for several hours as the police investigated the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
