4 Injured in Hesperia Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 near Ranchero Road
Hesperia, California (March 17, 2019) – Several people were hospitalized following a collision involving multiple vehicles in Hesperia on Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the wreck happened shortly after 2 p.m. March 16, on Interstate 15 between Ranchero and Oak Hill roads.
The officials said six vehicles were involved in the pile-up and one of them was sent crashing into the center divider. All vehicles involved sustained major damage.
Three Airlifted after Hesperia Six-Vehicle Crash
Three people had to be pulled out of a sedan by the fire crews after they got trapped. The three were then airlifted to trauma centers with critical injuries. A fourth victim was taken to a hospital with less severe injuries.
The exact cause of the pile up is under investigation.
