Haroutioun Shahbazian ID’d as Man Killed in Griffith Park Crash on Golden State (5) Freeway at Colorado Street

Griffith Park, California (April 5, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died early Monday morning following a single-vehicle traffic accident near Griffith Park as Haroutioun Shahbazian, 48, of Glendale.
The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred at about 2:08 a.m. Golden State (5) Freeway at Colorado Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Nissan reportedly lost control on the Colorado Street off-ramp from the Golden State (5) Freeway and veered off the roadway.
The Nissan then struck several trees.
