Guadalupe Olarte ID’d as Woman Killed in Los Banos Car Accident on West I Street
Los Banos, California (September 29, 2020) – Guadalupe Olarte, 66, of Los Banos, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a suspected DUI accident on Saturday night in Los Banos, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 7:45 p.m., on September 26, in the 1600 block of West I Street.
According to the police, Olarte was sitting in her vehicle in front of her home when a black 2011 Acura TL, driven by a 35-year-old woman, crashed into her parked car and at least five other vehicles.
The 35-year-old woman was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed and had been drinking before the collision, the officials said.

Olarte was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Acura and her male passenger were hospitalized in unknown conditions.
Alcohol and speed were determined to be a factor in the accident, the police said.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
