Todd Shoberg ID’d as Man Killed in West Marin Truck Crash on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road
West Marin, California (September 29, 2020) – Todd Michael Shoberg, 42, of Petaluma, has been identified as the man who was killed in a head-on car crash on Monday morning in West Marin, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Division.
The crash happened at about 9:10 a.m., on September 28, on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road, just west of the French Marin Cheese Factory.
According to the CHP, a Mazda 6 sport wagon, driven by Shoberg, drifted across the center divider and crashed head-on into a Peterbilt dump truck.

Sadly, Shoberg was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was taken to MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae in unknown condition.
Traffic on the roadway between Nicasio Valley Road and Novato Boulevard was stopped for several hours due to the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
