Rider Hospitalized after Grass Valley Motorcycle Accident at Rattlesnake Road and Highway 174 (Colfax Highway)
Grass Valley, California (July 11, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Friday afternoon at a Grass Valley intersection, according to a local news source.
The major injury collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol just after 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the intersection of Rattlesnake Road and Highway 174. Highway 174 is also known as Colfax Highway.
According to the CHP report, a white Ford van collided with the motorcyclist at the Grass Valley intersection.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency responders before being taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
The name of the rider and their condition were not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
