Woman Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at First Street and Yale Avenue
Fresno, California (September 16, 2020) – A woman in her 50s died after being struck by a vehicle Monday night in Fresno, according to authorities.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened shortly after 9:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, at the intersection of First Street and Yale Avenue.
Authorities said the woman was in the center divider when she fell onto the First Street and was struck by a vehicle that was heading northbound.

The woman was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.
The driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
