Man Killed in Fresno Motorcycle Accident on East Ashlan Avenue near Cedar Avenue

Fresno, California (January 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday evening in a traffic accident in Fresno, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash occurred at about 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, on East Ashlan Avenue near Cedar Avenue.
According to the authorities, a man in his 20s was riding his motorcycle westbound on Ashlan Avenue when he was struck by a truck that was attempting to make a northbound turn into a shopping center.

The motorcyclist was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The operator of the truck stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
Westbound Ashlan Avenue was shut down for two hours while the investigation took place.
