Person Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at 23rd and L Streets
Bakersfield, California (January 27, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in downtown Bakersfield, according to a local news source.
The major injury accident occurred at around 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, at the intersection of 23rd and L streets.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a red Fiat while running diagonally on 23rd Street toward L Street.
Pedestrian Injured in Bakersfield Crash
The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were immediately disclosed.
