Man Sustains Minor Injuries in Fresno Bicycle Accident at Orange and California

Fresno, California (January 15, 2019) – A man suffered minor injuries early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Southeast Fresno, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. Monday, January 14 in the area of Orange and California.
As per the report, the man was riding his bicycle in the area when his girlfriend attempted to run him over. The bike was then pinned between the girlfriend’s pickup truck and a utility pole.
The unidentified man sustained minor injuries in the accident. It was immediately unclear why the woman attempted to run the man down.
According to police, the driver of the pickup truck failed to stop and fled the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
