Fresno, CA: Major Traffic Accident at Highway 168 and Highway 180
Major Injuries Reported in Fresno Car Crash at Highway 168 and Highway 180
Fresno, California (January 17, 2019) – Major injuries were reported after a traffic collision Monday night in the area of Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 7:53 p.m. Monday, January 14 on westbound Highway 168 transition to southbound Highway 41.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. Smoke was seen coming out of one of the cars following the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
Authorities closed down the southbound Highway 41 ramp following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
