At Least 1 Sustains Major Injuries in Fresno Car Accident on W Sample Avenue and N Maroa Avenue

Fresno, California (April 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon Fresno car accident that happened on W Sample Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just before 2:00 p.m. in the 388 block of W Sample near the intersection with N Maroa Avenue.
A black 4-door Nissan Altima collided with another car under unclear circumstances.
One person was possibly trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help at least one person who suffered major injuries in the crash.
The identity and condition of the victim were not disclosed.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
