Possible Injuries Reported after Fontana Big Rig Accident on 10 Freeway at Etiwanda Avenue Exit
Fontana, California (March 28, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported after a traffic collision Thursday morning in the area of Fontana, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at an unspecified time on Thursday, on 10 Freeway at North Etiwanda Avenue exit.
Big Rig Crash in Fontana, March 26
As per the report, initial findings stated that a big rig ran a red traffic light and hit a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at the North Etiwanda Avenue exit. The pickup went about 100 yards from the intersection as a result of the collision.
The semi-truck driver, on the other hand, stated that he had the green light and was turning left to head north when the pickup truck slammed into his car.
No other information concerning this incident was provided.
The Ontario Police Department responded to the scene.
An investigation is underway.
