2 Hospitalized after South Sacramento Accident on Highway 99 near Twin Cities Road
South Sacramento, California (March 28, 2019) – Two persons were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the area of South Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 6:41 a.m. Thursday, on northbound Highway 99, just south of Twin Cities Road.
As per the report, four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Minor Injury Crash in South Sacramento, March 28
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend the injured parties. One party was transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center and another to Adventist Health Memorial Hospital, all for treatment of minor injuries.
The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
