Napa, California (June 8, 2021) – A Fairfield motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a collision with an SUV at an intersection in Napa, according to authorities.

The deadly motorcycle crash took place in the area of Pueblo and Stadium avenues at approximately 12:41 p.m. Sunday, June 6.

Authorities said a 26-year-old Fairfield man was riding a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja westbound on Pueblo Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a 2017 Volvo XC90 that was attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Pueblo from southbound Stadium Avenue.

Deadly Napa Motorcycle Crash

The motorcyclist was taken to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where he died from his injuries despite life-saving measures performed by the medical personnel. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

The 35-year-old Napa woman driving the SUV stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.

The crash prompted the closure of Pueblo Avenue between Rexford Mobile Estates and the Boys & Girls Club for about six hours.
