Fair Oaks Crash on Greenback Lane Near Cajun Restaurant Injures Bicyclist
Fair Oaks, California (July 3, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run bicycle collision that occurred in Fair Oaks Friday morning.
The CHP responded to the crash site at 8121 Greenback Lane near a Fair Oaks Cajun restaurant at approximately 7:05 a.m.
A bicyclist was reportedly hit by an unspecified vehicle on the roadway near Fair Oaks Boulevard for an undetermined reason.
Fair Oaks Hit-and-Run Crash
The crash left the unidentified rider with unknown injuries.
As per the report, the driver who struck the victim escaped the crash site before police arrived.
The accident resulted in the closure of a section of Greenback Lane near the business for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
