At Least 1 Killed in Escondido Crash on Old Castle and Indian Hill roads
Escondido, California (April 28, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a Wednesday morning traffic accident in Escondido, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Old Castle and Indian Hill roads, just west of Interstate 15 in the unincorporated Hidden Meadows area.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an older model Honda Accord sedan had crashed into a tree for undetermined reasons.
At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
