Jason Peterson Injured in Delhi Pedestrian Accident at Stephens Street and Schendel Avenue
Jason Peterson Struck and Injured by Vehicle at Stephens Street and Schendel Avenue in Delhi
Delhi, California (April 28, 2021) – A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Delhi, Merced County, early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:24 a.m. April 25, in the area Stephens Street and Schendel Avenue.
38-year-old Jason Anthony Peterson, of Modesto, was walking across Stephens Street when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound.
Peterson sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
The vehicle, believed to be a 2003 to 2006 silver Hyundai Elantra, did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located. The CHP said the vehicle sustained possible damage to the passenger side.
