Woman Injured in DUI Car Accident on San Pasqual Valley Road in San Diego, Suspect Arrested
San Diego, California (April 28, 2021) – A woman was injured in a hit-and-run collision in San Pasqual, San Diego, on Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:45 p.m. in the 15700 block of San Pasqual Valley Road.
A 30-year-old man was driving a Nissan Versa westbound on the highway when he attempted to make a U-turn and struck a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 41-year-old woman.
The woman sustained a broken arm and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The man fled the scene after the crash but was located and arrested.
The police said the suspect will be charged with felony hit-and-run and felony DUI.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
