2 Injured, 1 Critically in Eastvale Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Pomona Freeway
Eastvale, California (July 28, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Eastvale, police said.
At about 2:10 p.m., on July 27, the California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury crash on Interstate 15, just south of the Pomona (60) Freeway.
A sedan, van, and compact pickup truck collided on the roadway. The manner at which the crash occurred is yet to be established, according to the CHP.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one victim who was trapped in the wreckage.
2 Injured in Traffic Crash on Interstate 15 in Eastvale
The extricated patient was hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Another victim was also taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
