Fontana, California (July 28, 2020) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the bicyclist who died after being struck by a vehicle late Sunday night in Fontana as Adolph Trujillo, 59, of Fontana.  

The fatal accident happened at around 11:50 p.m. Sunday, July 26, in the 1600 block of Baseline Avenue. 

Reports from authorities show that Trujillo was riding his bicycle on Baseline Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle.  

Trujillo was pronounced deceased at the scene at around 12:04 a.m. Monday, July 27.  

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.  

The accident remains under investigation by the Fontana Police Department.
