Diamond Springs, California (May 27, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred at an intersection in Diamond Springs on May 16.
The bicycle crash was reported at about 10:15 a.m. in the area of Missouri Flat Road and Pleasant Valley Road.
As per the CHP report, a pickup truck traveling south on Missouri Flat Road made a left turn onto Pleasant Valley Road and hit a bicyclist.

The involved motorist left the rider with unspecified injuries and escaped the crash site.
The investigators are gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
