Anwanhee Woman killed in Diamond Spring Accident on Highway 49 near Pleasant Valley Road
Diamond Spring, California (February 19, 2019) – An Anwanhee woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Diamond Spring, police said.
The incident took place at an unspecified time on February 18, on Highway 49 near Pleasant Valley.
According to the authorities, a 43-year-old woman was driving a 2008 Chevy Silverado south on Highway 49 when she lost control of her vehicle. A 32-year-old man from Lemoore was driving a 2012 Dodge north on Highway 49 at the time and collided with the right side of the Silverado.
The female driver of the Chevy was killed in the crash. The woman’s name was not disclosed pending notification of her family.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
