Patsy Thorburn, Henry Everett Hospitalized after DUI Crash on Highway 29 in Lower Lake
Patsy Thorburn and Henry Everett Injured in Highway 29 Accident near Spruce Grove Road in Lower Lake; Gabrielle Dorsett Arrested

Lower Lake, California (February 18, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday evening in a DUI crash near Lower Lake, according to a local news source.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, February 17 on Highway 29, just south of Spruce Grove Road and involved three vehicles.
The CHP said a 1986 Mercedes driven by Gabrielle Dorsett, 57, of Santa Rosa, was traveling southbound on Highway 29 while a 2011 GMC driven by Patsy Thorburn, 80, was heading northbound. Alexis Stafford, 36, of Kelseyville, was driving a 2005 Dodge northbound behind Thorburn.
As the vehicles approached each other, Dorsett drift into the northbound lane, directly into Thorburn’s path, with the two cars colliding head-on. Stafford observed the crash and swerved to the right to avoid it, causing her Dodge to veer off the roadway and struck a metal fence.
As per the report, all drivers stopped at the scene after the crash.
Both Thorburn and Everett were taken to Adventist Health Clear Lake with moderate injuries. Stafford was not injured in the wreck.
Dorsett was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken to Adventist Health Clear Lake with major injuries.
All four victims were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
