2 Injured after San Francisco Bay Crash on 80 Freeway near 1st Street
San Francisco, California (February 18, 2019) – Two persons were injured after a traffic collision Monday night in the area of San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 8:09 p.m. Monday, on eastbound 80 Freeway, just east of 1st Street.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person suffered an arm injury while the other suffered head injury as a result of the collision.
The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the collision. All lanes were opened as of 9:05 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
