South San Francisco, California (February 13, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the Florida male victim who died following a pedestrian accident that took place in South San Francisco at about 9:30 p.m. on February 9.
According to a local news source, the fatal pedestrian accident took place on Sunday night along northbound Highway 101, just north of Grand Avenue.
As per the report, 45-year-old David DeJesus of Fort Lauderdale was hit by an unspecified vehicle while walking in the center median on northbound Highway 101, facing oncoming traffic.
The operator of the involved vehicle stopped after hitting DeJesus and cooperated with the law.

DeJesus died in the accident.
The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of the highway up to approximately 11:59 p.m.
