Victim Struck and Killed by Vehicle Near Main and Mesa Streets in Susanville ID’d as Danyell Bailey

Susanville, California (February 7, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the female victim who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Susanville earlier last month.
The fatal collision was reported on January 6, in the area of Main and Mesa streets, near the Crossroads Ministries.
According to a local news source, 36-year-old Danyell Louise Bailey was crossing Main Street near the intersection with Mesa Street at approximately 6:00 a.m. when she was hit by an unspecified vehicle.

Bailey sustained severe injuries in the wreck. She was attended to by paramedics who responded at the scene shortly after the crash. Bailey died at Banner Lassen Medical Center, where she was admitted after the mishap.
It was not mentioned whether or not the involved motorist stopped after hitting Bailey and cooperated with the investigation.
