1 Severely Hurt in Lodi Truck Accident on I-5 near Peltier Road
Lodi, California (February 7, 2019) – A major injury truck collision left one person hospitalized on Thursday morning in Lodi, according to authorities.
The major crash happened a while before noon, January 6, on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Peltier Road.
As per the CHP officials, one semi-truck rear-ended another big rig for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to one party with severe injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the wounded party and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Following the impact, one of the trucks spilled its load of building materials onto the roadway. The second big rig was ferrying sweet potatoes at the time.
Authorities closed northbound lanes of Interstate 5 to give way to an on-scene investigation.
No further information regarding this collision was released.
