Alhambra, California (April 10, 2020) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has identified 47-year-old Daniel Taylor, of Rosemead, as the motorcyclist who died following a traffic accident that took place Wednesday night in Alhambra.

Authorities said the motorcycle collision happened at around 11:44 p.m. April 8, on the westbound 10 Freeway, just east of Fremont Avenue.

The accident happened when Taylor, who was riding his Honda CBR motorbike westbound on the interstate, drifted right into another lane and crashed into a dump truck. Due to the impact, Taylor then lost control of the bike and hit the dump truck again.

The initial report indicated that Taylor was ejected from his motorcycle upon the impact.

Coroner ID’d Daniel Taylor as Victim Killed in Alhambra Motorcycle Accident on 10 Freeway

Taylor died in the accident at approximately 12:03 a.m.

Limited details regarding the wreck were disclosed at the time of the report.
