At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Colfax Crash near Placer Hills Road and Espee Road
Colfax, California (March 26, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a major injury accident that happened Thursday evening near an intersection in Colfax.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided at around 8:09 p.m. near Placer Hills Road and Espee Road.
The vehicles were identified as a Toyota pickup truck and a Chevrolet Suburban.
A party reporting the accident said parties were out of the vehicles flagging down help.
The report said at least one person sustained major injuries. The victim was helped by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
The report did not mention the factors that may have led to the crash.
CHP is investigating the incident.
