Sonoma, California (March 26, 2021) – The male victim who died after being struck by a vehicle on a highway in Sonoma Monday morning has been identified as 85-year-old James Edwin Pendergast.
The fatal pedestrian crash was reported at about 8 a.m. in the area of Highway 12 and Verano Avenue.
Edwin Pendergast was hit by a vehicle while walking outside of a marked crosswalk along Highway 12. The pedestrian reportedly stepped into the intersection at Verano Avenue prior to the collision.

Sadly, Pendergast died in the accident.
