Lakewood, California (March 19, 2021) – Christine Yan was among two women who died after being hit by a vehicle last week on Friday in Lakewood.
The deadly accident took place at the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Lemming Street on Friday, March 12.
Yan and another woman were crossing the intersection when they were hit by a vehicle. Authorities said the intersection has no flashing lights or stoplights.
Both women died in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene after the accident.
