Cardiff, California (September 12, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Cardiff, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 8:00 p.m. in the 2500 block of South Coast Highway 101 near the northern parking lot of Cardiff State Beach.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that was traveling on South Coast Highway 101.

The pedestrian died in the accident. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of the family.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
