Gonzalo Regino Hospitalized after Fresno County Car Accident at Kamm Avenue and Marks Avenue
Fresno County, California (September 12, 2020) – Gonzalo Regino, 28, was hospitalized after being involved in a fatal crash Saturday morning near Caruthers in Fresno County, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash happened at about 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Kamm Avenue and Marks Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 1996 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 65-year-old man, was traveling westbound on Kamm Avenue, approaching Marks Avenue when, for unknown reasons, it failed to yield for a stop sign at Marks Avenue and was broadsided by a 2015 Chevrolet pickup pulling a cattle trailer northbound on Marks Avenue.

The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
Regino, who was the driver of the Chevrolet, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. It is undetermined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
