California City, California (June 7, 2019) – One person was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a big rig on Monday afternoon in California City, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened on Neuralia Road between Mendiburu and Phillips roads on Monday, June 3.
CHP said a big rig hauling bottled water collided with a motorcyclist then traveled off the side of the road and slammed into a power pole.
Rider Dies in California City Motorcycle Crash
The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is investigating the fatal crash.
