Woman Sustains Major Injuries in Cajon Pass Traffic Accident on 15 Freeway near Cleghorn Road
Cajon Pass, California (February 21, 2020) – Major injuries were reported in a car accident that happened in the area of Cajon Pass at around 11:55 a.m. on February 20.
The traffic collision was reported on Thursday morning along northbound 15 Freeway.
According to a local news source, the accident involved a white Chevy pickup truck and other unspecified cars that collided on the roadway for undisclosed reasons.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Chevy overturned and fell about 50 feet down the side of the mountain. Another car came to a rest facing the wrong way in the median.
Woman Severely Injured in Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Cleghorn Road
Officials said Good Samaritans helped a female party out of the Chevy. The woman sustained severe head injuries following the crash.
A male occupant in the pickup confirmed that he was not injured as a result of the accident.
Meanwhile, the detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the wreck.
