Rider Sustains Minor Injuries in Butte County Bicycle Accident on Highway 32 near Chico
Butte County, California (January 21, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained following a bicycle accident that happened on a highway in Butte County Thursday morning, January 21.
The bicyclist was hit by a vehicle at approximately 10:50 a.m. on State Route 32 (Highway 32) near River Road.
Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bicycle and went down in the westbound lanes of the road.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.

The unidentified cyclist sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
