60-Year-Old Brawley Man Killed in Calipatria Crash on Highway 115 and East Albright Road
Calipatria, California (June 28, 2021) – A 60-year-old man from Brawley was killed in a Saturday afternoon suspected DUI accident in Calipatria.
The deadly accident transpired at about 4:00 p.m., on June 27, on Highway 115 and East Albright Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford F-250 pickup, driven by the 60-year-old man was broadsided by a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man also of Brawley.
Following the collision, the Ford reportedly overturned multiple times before landing on its tires.

Sadly, the 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 54-year-old man was also injured in the accident and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
