Man Killed in Bell Gardens Crash on Jaboneria Road
Bell Gardens, California (February 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was on Wednesday evening hit and killed by a vehicle after he walked into a street in Bell Gardens, according to the Bell Gardens Police Department.
The incident was reported at about 6:50 p.m. February 19, in the 6600 block of Jaboneria Road.
Police said the pedestrian had walked out between two parked vehicles into the street and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Jaboneria Road.
Man Killed in Bell Gardens Pedestrian Collision
The Los Angeles County Fire paramedics responded to the incident and attended to the injured pedestrian. He was then transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
