Woman Seriously Injured in Cajon Pass Crash on NB I-15 near Cleghorn Road
Cajon Pass, California (February 21, 2020) – A woman sustained major injuries in a crash on NB I-15 in Cajon Pass Thursday morning, according to CHP.
The wreck happened near Cleghorn Road at about 11:55 a.m. February 20.
According to the report, a white Chevy pickup truck and other vehicles were involved. The impact caused the Chevy to overturn and it fell approximately 50 feet down the side of the mountain.
Woman Seriously Hurt in Cajon Pass Crash on NB I-15
A woman in the pickup was helped out of the vehicle by Good Samaritans who stopped at the scene and went down the mountain. The woman reportedly suffered major head injuries.
A male occupant of the pickup was able to get himself out of the truck and was OK.
One of the involved vehicles came to a rest facing the wrong way in the center divider.
No further details were released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
