Man, Woman Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Wilson Road near South Real Road
Bakersfield, California (October 3, 2019) – A motorcycle crash with a vehicle left two people dead on Wednesday night in Southwest Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield police, the crash was reported at about 8:10 p.m. October 2, on Wilson Road just west of South Real Road.
Police said the driver of a silver sedan trying to make a left turn allegedly failed to yield to a motorcycle traveling east on Wilson Road, leading to the crash.

A man and a woman who were riding on the motorcycle were killed in the crash.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The accident caused a closure of Wilson Road between South Real and Wible roads for approximately two to three hours as the scene was examined and cleared.
The Bakersfield police are investigating the crash.
