Bakersfield, CA: CHP Investigating 2-Vehicle Crash on South Union Avenue
1 Person Trapped after Bakersfield Crash on South Union Avenue near South Chester Avenue
Bakersfield, California (May 12, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic accident that happened Wednesday evening in Bakersfield.
The crash, involving a pick-up truck and a semi-truck, was reported at around 7:53 p.m. on South Union Avenue near South Chester Avenue.
According to the CHP, a Chevy pick-up truck collided with a semi-truck for unknown reasons on South Union Avenue.

CHP said one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles. The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
The crash remains under investigation.
