Livermore, CA: Major Injury Head-On Collision on Altamont Pass Road
2 Injured, 1 Airlifted after Livermore Crash on Altamont Pass Road at Dyer Road

Livermore, California (May 12, 2021) – Two people were injured in a head-on crash in unincorporated Livermore Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
At around 6:00 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of Altamont Pass Road and Dyer Road for a report of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival, they found a vehicle on top of another car.
As per the local news source, one person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The victim was then airlifted to John Muir Medical Center with major injuries but in stable condition.
Another patient was transported via a ground ambulance to Eden Medical Center in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
