Man Injured in Atascadero Bicycle Crash on Morro Road near El Camino Real
Atascadero, California (January 1, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on Saturday afternoon in Atascadero, police said.
The crash happened on Morro Road near El Camino Real around 4:15 p.m. December 29.
Police said the rider sustained major injuries after he was struck by a car. The victim was rushed to a hospital in San Luis Obispo for treatment. There was no update on the victim’s condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene. No one was hurt in the vehicle.
The police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
